They wanted to make it as simple as possible to get an online wedding in India.
The site was created by Minted as a way to connect the online world with the real world.
With a simple website design, the website is easy to navigate and offers a variety of wedding and event options.
But the website was not free, as it required an account to access.
Minted was not just an online store, it was also an event website.
“Minted was an online event hub,” she says.
“So we had to build an event platform that offered a full event experience.”
The site, however, did not make a profit.
“We built it for the money,” Minted says.
The couple has since switched focus to other business ventures.
“I want to work on other things and focus on this website.
But I don’t want to go bankrupt.
I want to have this website that will make it easy for everyone to find out how to get married online,” she adds.
“The platform is the key to making the experience even better.”
The Minted website had about 150,000 visitors a month.
“This website was a huge success,” Minte says.
Minting’s success is due to her willingness to take risks, which she describes as “risk taking.”
“You need to take a risk when you want to make a product.
I’m an entrepreneur,” she explains.
“You want to try new things.
You need to see what works.”
The couple hopes to continue their journey as they develop the next stage of their business.
“People who are successful in the online space will always find a way,” Minting says.
